About the job:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tax writer and editor to help deliver engaging, actionable guidance to our diverse and growing audience.
This is a digital-first editorial position, so you’ll spend most of your time writing, editing, and producing tax content for Kiplinger.com, which could be in the form of stories, slideshows or galleries, tools, or other innovative offerings. As part of a larger team of editors serving multiple platforms, you may also contribute to The Kiplinger Tax Letter, Kiplinger’s Retirement Report, and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine. Many of our editors appear as guests on Kiplinger’s Your Money’s Worth podcast, too.
Qualified candidates should have a strong general understanding of federal and/or state tax laws and tax-planning, knowledge of tax-filing requirements and strategies, strong organizational and editing skills, and the ability to meet daily deadlines. You must also be able to effectively pass along your knowledge in writing to a wide variety of readers.
