GrowthSpotter.com seeks an editor

The Orlando Sentinel is seeking an experienced Senior Content Editor to lead GrowthSpotter.com, which covers Metro Orlando’s dynamic real-estate market and related development.

This is a salaried managerial position, which involves supervising and editing a small team of reporters and freelancers, while also covering a beat to produce two or more stories per day.

The person in this position maintains GrowthSpotter’s high standard for daily news coverage; edits to ensure there are no errors in spelling, punctuation or AP style; manages social media and a daily newsletter; and serves as the brand’s lead ambassador by attending relevant public events.

Job Qualifications: Degree from a four-year college or university, and five years or more of related journalism experience required. Experience covering real estate development and local government planning and zoning process is desired.

How to Apply: If interested and qualified, please email a resume, cover letter and up to five relevant news clips to Mark Skoneki at mskoneki@orlandosentinel.com
