The Toronto Globe and Mail is looking for an accomplished business editor to lead our financial services team.
The new editor will drive our coverage of the ins and outs of Bay Street, from mergers to ipos, banking, capital markets, pension funds, private equity and law firms. The editor will work with our Streetwise team and other reporters to lead our financial services coverage online, in print and through video. We need someone who is well versed in financial markets and who can help us keep Streetwise, our premium online offering, as the go to place for financial news online.
Requirements : The successful candidate will be a proven leader who can attract and retain top writing and editing talent and can guide them toward breaking news, insightful features, and projects and investigations with impact. All news is business news and the new editor will seize that vision.
