Newsday is seeking a business reporter to cover affordability issues and general assignment topics.

Essential Job Knowledge & Skills

Extensive business reporting experience is not required.
The successful candidate will be able to explain to consumers how business trends relate to their lives and affect their wallets.
Candidates should have strong writing and reporting skills, and embrace social media as a tool to spot trends and connect with diverse audiences.

Compensation

This position is represented by the Graphics Communication Conference, IBT.
The hourly base rate range for this role is $31.27 – $51.30, commensurate with experience.
