Barron’s is seeking an authoritative and knowledgeable journalist to provide high-level, sophisticated analysis, news stories and enterprise about the U.S. debt markets.
This writer should have a deep understanding of the bond market, including Treasuries, municipals, and investment-grade and high-yield corporates, as well as more esoteric forms of debt. When bond yields are soaring, yield curves are inverting, or credit-default swaps are signaling distress, this reporter should be able to step up with timely analysis of what investors need to know – for that day and for their longer-term portfolios.
Given the complex nature of the beat, we are seeking candidates who are broad thinkers and good writers. We want someone who can tell us not only what is happening but also what developments in these markets mean for investors and savers. That requires an insightful mind who can lay out complex concepts in clear and compelling writing.
Barron’s strongly values teamwork, so the ability to collaborate with reporters, editors, and our visual journalists is a must.
Interested parties should send a resume and cover letter to David.Cho@barrons.com and Bob.Rose@barrons.com , and apply through the link on this job posting.
