Linda Werner & Associates is looking for writers with a strong content strategy, project management, writing and editorial background to deliver content for the Security Training web portal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support lead PM to oversee content management process and shepherding content through as needed
  • Work with SME’s to form documentation
  • Assist with managing day-to-day stakeholder relationships, including content reviews
  • Package and hand off final content to production team
  • Coordinate editing, project support, and QA schedule/pipeline
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Content Management Systems

RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE FOLLOWING

  • Delivering content to provide security awareness. Work with internal subject matter experts to understand, write and edit relevant, technically accurate communications via the security portal.
  • Deliver to an audience who heavy communicates via social media and a push communications environment.
  • Ensure a consistent voice and tone across all content.
  • Work directly with managers in creating and refining references and style guide.
  • Participate in content management efforts, process development, and quality governance in support of team success, while also working independently on multiple projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years work experience writing content i.e. Security Training, How-To’s, Process documentation.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills (must provide relevant samples).
  • Proficient in AP Style Guide.
  • Demonstrated success writing effective process documentation and internal communications.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or related field preferred.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal communication.
  • Must be able to self-direct and prioritize assignments.
  • Knowledge of HTML and XML.

COMPENSATION

  • $45-$54 an hour
