Healthy Rich is looking for writers

Healthy Rich helps us discover the information, skills and mindset we need to choose the work and life we want. It publishes stories that illuminate the diversity of our relationships with work and money, all written by budding writers whose voices we don’t hear enough in personal finance media, like BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Healthy Rich helps us discover the information, skills and mindset we need to choose the work and life we want. It publishes stories that illuminate the diversity of our relationships with work and money, all written by budding writers whose voices we don’t hear enough in personal finance media, like BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities.

Pitch anything you think is a fit as long as it relates to money + disability: a personal essay, advice for people with disabilities, things you wish others knew about your experience, etc. Send pitches to pitches at danamedia dot co before February 18.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • Pay is $300 for posts about 1,000–1,500 words. No reporting expected. Would also keep you on our roster for a variety of personal finance assignments in the future if you’re interested!
