Dow Jones Newswires seeks head of content strategy

As the Head of Content Strategy for Dow Jones Newswires within the Professional Information Business (PIB), you will report into the General Manager, and own the content strategy in support of Newswires’ business goals and objectives.

This will include working with the business management team, newsroom, data strategy, technology, finance, content licensing and legal to deliver a world class and premium content offering. The content offering will include news, research, and data but will also include video, images, graphics and other rich media that we’ll want to incorporate into the business.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ yrs experience with a global news and information B2B company.
  • 10+ years working with, selling and/or products/solutions for financial services clients.
  • Familiarity with delivery of content, including news, via feeds and APIs.
  • Experience working with real time market data platforms.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience hiring, coaching, and developing a team.
  • Highly commercial minded and familiarity with content licensing best practices.
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
