Dow Jones Media Group seeks a senior writer/editor in London

Dow Jones Media Group is looking for a senior writer and editor for its publications in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The role will involve breaking big news stories, writing features and editing articles on finance, markets and politics for Financial News, MarketWatch, Barron’s and Mansion Global in the region.

The successful candidate will be an experienced journalist with a proven track-record of breaking stories, writing high-profile features and editing big pieces for digital and print publications.

A knowledge of financial markets, politics and economics is essential.

The role will be based in London and reporting to the Head of EMEA for DJMG.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
