Debtwire seeks content manager in New York

Debtwire, the leading financial newswire for the fixed-income market, is seeking a candidate with newshound instincts as Content Manager for its North America desk. The job is located in the firm’s New York offices.

The Content Manager is responsible from 7am-4pm for overseeing and maintaining the quality of Debtwire’s aggregated intelligence and its delivery to subscribers. In addition to having a demonstrable passion for news, applicants should be familiar with the capital markets, comfortable editing the work of others to a high standard, and producing their own copy on tight deadlines. Experience examining earnings statements, company filings and analyst reports is preferred.

The successful candidate will have:

An investigative mind and good writing skills;
An understanding of fixed income markets, a strong grasp of and an interest in the broader financial markets;
Excellent time management and communication skills;
A self-starter attitude with a cooperative approach.

To apply please send your CV and a cover letter to mark.seber@mergermarket.com
