The Greeley (Colo.) Tribune is searching for an experienced, full-time reporter/editor to oversee our farming and ranching coverage in one of the richest agricultural counties in the country.
We’re looking for somebody who knows the difference between a steer and a heifer, and the difference between corn silage and corn for grain. Interested applicants should have the ability to write meaningful enterprise stories about the important issues facing ag producers, as well as write the interesting feature stories about cute 4-H kids competing in the county fair.
Some editing and story planning skills also are required to oversee a weekly sister publication that focuses on farm and ranch coverage. Photography, multimedia and social media skills are a plus. We are an award-winning daily newspaper an hour north of Denver and 30 miles from the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
If you are a talented journalist who is passionate about the impact on farming and ranching in our community, email cover letter and resume to careers@swiftcom.com and put “Ag Editor” in the subject line.
