The reporter will be responsible for breaking news about mergers, acquisitions, and new offerings on Wall Street. The types of stories written by the reporter will include primarily breaking news on major deals, along with enterprise work on the latest trends in investment banking.
The reporters daily responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
-breaking news
-Monitoring developments in lending, trading and M&A
-Monitoring major Wall Street banking employee moves
Qualifications/Requirements
-At least three years of deals reporting experience
-Specific experience writing about M&A
-Knowledge of investment banking basic functions
-Wall Street banking sources
-Ability to file fast, clean copy
