Central Penn Business Journal seeks editor

Do you have a passion for journalism but are tired of worrying about the next round of cuts?  Would it be great to have a regular-business-hours schedule? It’s time to learn more about Journal Multimedia.

Journal Multimedia is 30-year-old multi-title publishing, events and data company. We have made the Inc. 5000 list for seven of the last eight years.

We are looking for a new editor of the Central Penn Business Journal. Based in Harrisburg, Pa., the Central Penn Business Journal produces award-winning weekly print and daily digital products for the business community in Central Pennsylvania. The editor will lead an accomplished 10-person team of editors, reporters, researcher and photographer.

Join a winning team of professionals who enjoy their work and their work environment. Candidates should have at least five years of editorial and management experience. Business journalism experience is a plus.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
