The Pacific Coast Business Times, the weekly business media company based in Santa Barbara, Calif., is looking for someone to be a news editor/managing editor.
This person must have strong In-Design and WordPress skills to manage production of our main news section and web news updates, in addition to writing and reporting on a weekly basis. We are looking for strong organizational skills and a good eye for photos who can work with our fairly structured layouts, produce journalism that rocks and meet our deadlines.
We are in our 15th year of publication and have won numerous awards including an SPJ Sigma Delta Chi Award and honors from the Los Angeles Press Club and SABEW. This is a full-time salaried position ($42,000 to $45,000) with health benefits and the possibility for advancement.
