The Pacific Coast Business Times, the weekly business media company based in Santa Barbara, Calif., is looking for a staff writer who can cover a broad range of technology companies in three of the nation’s most attractive counties.
You will be covering a range of companies from biotech giant Amgen to startups/early stage companies being spawned at UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and other institutions.
This is a full-time salaried position ($38,000 to $40,000 range) with health benefits. Candidates should have some experience and a good grounding in finance basics. Enthusiasm and a willingness to adapt to the extremely high cost of housing in our area are a plus.
