Business Insider seeks tech reporter in London

Business Insider UK is looking for reporters to join our tech team in London.

These reporters will have a deep understanding of the tech industry and a strong interest in technology trends that will shape how we live, work, and get around in the future.

We will consider candidates at various experience levels, but the ideal candidate should:

  • have a degree in journalism or experience writing for a news outlet, preferably at a digital publication
  • have excellent reporting and writing skills, and the ability to write and edit quickly
  • have a knack for telling stories in a relatable and compelling way
  • have a demonstrated social media presence
  • be ready to write a mix of articles, including short posts that analyse the most interesting news of the day, while also working on reported medium-length and long-form features

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
