The Boston Globe is looking for a reporter for its business news desk.
This position covers and reports on local business, as well as national and global news with regional implications.
Responsibilities:
Reporting and writing breaking news and enterprise pieces for print and online.
Qualifications:
Skillful writing — as well as rock-solid reporting — is essential for this position. We’re seeking someone who has ability to not only convey important news, but to do it in a sophisticated and entertaining manner that will engage a wide range of readers, not just those immersed in the business world.
We are looking for a storyteller who is precise and prolific, and willing to adapt to the accelerating pace of change in a modern newsroom.
An English or journalism degree and a minimum of 5 years covering business for a daily newspaper is required.
