The editor for this role will have strong writing and editing skills and work under tight deadline to turn around clean and concise copy about the aviation and industrial sectors in the Asia-Pacific region.
The candidate should be able to collaborate across teams to help generate exclusive news and ideas for broader stories that can be used on the terminal and across platforms. Ideally the candidate will be knowledgeable about the aviation and industrial sectors but above all, edit to precision and in a timely manner.
The Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
– Excellent editing skills
– Ability to work in a real-time news environment and make quick news judgment
– Proven career in business journalism with experience in quick turnaround of breaking news stories and edit enterprise pieces
– Prior experience reporting/editing on industrial, aviation sectors is advantageous
– Prior experience in managing people is a plus
