Bloomberg News is looking for a versatile editor in New York to join its credit team. You’d be responsible for covering every stage of bond sales, from initial pricing to final terms, as well as editing unique real-time analysis of those deals that provide exclusive data for fixed-income professionals.

You’d be joining at an exciting time as America’s companies borrow at a record pace ahead of US elections and central bank rate cuts that may impact fund flows and demand for certain asset classes. You’d be expected to help maintain our new issue trackers, have a good eye for detail and demonstrate an ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom.

When not on deadline, you’ll be cultivating story ideas with reporters and driving impactful stories that resonate with terminal and web readers.

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:
–  Maintain a culture of urgency, innovation and strong news judgement
–  Demonstrate level-headedness in a fast-paced, dynamic news environment
– Be detailed-oriented with an ability to edit quickly, accurately and clearly under deadline pressure
–  Build influential relationships across the newsroom to get things done and ensure our coverage is packaged well across platforms

–  Promote diversity of thought and representation throughout our coverage

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:
– Previous experience in financial journalism or credit
–  A record of mentoring, coaching and advocating for reporters and their work
–  A record of motivating reporters to break news
–  A strong work ethic and solid organizational skills

Salary Range = 90000 – 125000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
