Benzinga is looking for a hungry financial writer/editor that loves startups and wants to take our content to the next level.
We’re getting a lot of traffic and we need some more team members to help us handle all the new visitors. You will have a range of responsibilities including managing content, writing, and executing editorial strategy.
Our content team is determined and committed to creating interesting, “I have to read this!” news headlines and short-to-full-length articles/stories that relate to personal finance, investing and trading. This content will be viewed by over 100,000 visitors daily.

Stuff you need to get this gig:
Pursuing or have a min. of a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Economics or financial-related field.
At least 1+ years of professional writing experience, ideally as a financial journalist- must be passionate about financial markets and a news junky.
Able to work under pressure and turn out articles on breaking news in rapid succession.
Must be a creative thinker with the ability to translate complex information to a diverse audience.
Must be detail-oriented with expert writing skills and determined to polish their work.
Must have real-world experience writing for web and social media.
Excellent English and communication skills.
