It is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student who intends to pursue a career in journalism for paid, full-time 10-week reporting summer internships in its New York headquarters.
This is an opportunity to work directly alongside reporters, editors, and other news-gathering and presentation teams as they cover news and themes in business, financial news, and other topics relevant to Barrons’s audience.
The ideal candidate is enterprising, energetic, collegial and eager to learn about how to serve an audience in real time across digital and print platforms.
The candidate doesn’t need to be an expert in business or finance, but strong reporting and writing skills are required, as is a commitment to the highest journalistic ethics. Enthusiasm for financial and business journalism is a must; relevant experience is preferred but not required.
