Barron’s seeks a reporter in London

Barron’s reporters should be equally able to offer insights into the biggest stories of each day and develop original enterprise that can answer big questions about the economy, markets or business world.

These writers should be digitally savvy, with a keen understanding of how to generate a large audience by making news digestible by using alternative story forms.

We are looking for people with at least 5 to 7 years of writing and reporting experience.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
