Barron’s seeks a digital editor

The Digital Editor will edit multiple stories a day for Barrons.com on a wide variety of markets and investment-related topics.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of five years editing experience in business and financial journalism. They will be versatile and highly skilled in all aspects of editing and production, including coming up with the most compelling headlines for online. They will be skilled at rewriting, and otherwise improving copy, finishing stories on deadline throughout the day for digital publication, and weekly for print publication.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
