Barron’s Group seeks a China correspondent

Barron’s Group, formerly known as Dow Jones Media Group, is looking for a top-class journalist to lead its coverage of China. Based in Beijing or Shanghai, the correspondent will contribute news stories, features and analysis to all of DJMG’s publications: Barron’s, MarketWatch, Financial News and Mansion Global.

The successful candidate will have experience of covering business, financial and macro-economic stories for both online and print, ideally for an international publication. A fat rolodex of contacts among China’s financial and political elite as well as sources in the diplomatic and expat banking communities will be essential.

DJMG’s publications focus on investors so knowledge of markets, finance and economics is a must, as is fluency in spoken Mandarin.
