Baltimore Business Journal seeks reporter

Want to cover Under Armour, one of the country’s most dynamic companies? Want to report on Baltimore’s continued struggle to recover from civil unrest that devastated the tourism industry?

The Baltimore Business Journal is looking for an aggressive and creative reporter to cover sports business and hospitality and tourism — two of Greater Baltimore’s most exciting industries.

We’re looking for a reporter who relentlessly digs up and breaks important news and can tell readers what it means on all of our platforms: web, social media, video and print.

Baltimore Business Journal reporters marry strong traditional journalism skills — source building, sharp interviewing techniques, strong analytical and investigative reporting skills, clear writing, document use — with online and social media know-how.

If you’re interested in joining our team, please explain why in a cover letter.

Send the cover letter along with your resume and clips to Editor-in-Chief Joanna Sullivan at jsullivan@bizjournals.com.
