The Baltimore Business Journal is looking for an experienced reporter/editor to take on the role of Digital Editor.
The editor will be responsible for online content, including our Morning Edition, Afternoon Edition and Real Estate Inc. newsletters. He or she will own the execution of the online content strategy across multiple platforms and products, including Web, email, mobile and social media.
It is mandatory that the candidate thrive in a breaking-news culture. The primary goal of the digital editor is to craft timely and compelling products that drive loyal engagement, grow audience and extend the Business Journal brand in the digital space.
The job requires solid news judgment, strong reporting, writing and editing skills, creative use of social media and familiarity with SEO and site metrics.
