Alaska Journal of Commerce seeks a managing editor

The Alaska Journal of Commerce is looking for an editor to manage an online and weekly print publication focused on business and economic news in Alaska.

We cover Alaska’s business and economy in-depth for smart, demanding readers. We need someone strong in the basics: news judgment, knowledge of business and economic topics, editing and writing skills, audience, ability to work productively with others, close attention to detail. You have a proven ability to produce engaging and accurate content, preferably with experience in business and economic news.

We’re independently owned and offer competitive salary and benefits. We value a diverse and inclusive workforce, work-life balance and workplace flexibility. The Journal is published by the Anchorage Daily News, Alaska’s most widely-read newspaper and news site. We will consider remote working.

Email a resume, work samples and a note telling us about yourself why you’re right for this job to news-jobs@adn.com.
