CNNMoney executive editor Lex Haris sent out the following announcement on Friday:
We have a new breaking news reporter: Jackie Wattles starts on May 27.
Rich and I met Jackie at the Columbia job fair in March and we both picked up on the same thing: She’s really smart. Energetic. And loves CNNMoney (unless she was just saying that and we fell for it – but it was pretty convincing).
Jackie will work Sunday through Thursday and close us out in the evenings.
Before getting her Master’s at Columbia, she attended the University of Connecticut, where she played varsity volleyball.
