BusinessWeek announced Wednesday that Jessica Sibley has been named senior vice president and worldwide publisher.
Sibley is responsible for directing BusinessWeek’s sales team and driving all advertising-based revenue for BusinessWeek’s multimedia products, including BusinessWeek magazine, BusinessWeek.com, events, and the brand’s mobile, video, and TV offerings.
“Jessica joins us at an exciting time for the BusinessWeek franchise.  The magazine’s relaunch and record growth in traffic to BusinessWeek.com continue to draw new customers to our brand,” said Keith Fox, president of BusinessWeek, in a statement. “Jessica has the right combination of business acumen, industry experience, and vision to enhance our already strong integrated global sales team. We’re thrilled to have her.”
Sibley joins BusinessWeek from The Wall Street Journal, where she was vice president, multimedia sales, New York, New England, and Europe. Her prior positions at the Journal included vice president, financial advertising and agency relations; director, national advertising, financial category; and associate regional manager, New York office.
Before that, Sibley held positions at Forbes Inc. as financial advertising director and Mid-Atlantic regional manager.
Sibley holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Hobart/William Smith Colleges.
