Eric LaRose, interim business editor of the Sheboygan Press, points out in his column that the paper’s Sunday business section has been revamped.
LaRose wrote, “Starting today, the section will have less wire copy and more local news.
“There will be more Business Briefs from local establishments, more Who’s News entries with larger pictures, more submitted ribbon-cutting photos and a front page that is 100 percent local business news.
“Yes, we will continue to feature some wire stories, and section favorites like Bruce Williams’ ‘Smart Money’ and Ken King’s ‘Ask Ken’ won’t be going anywhere.
“In fact, starting next week, ‘Ask Ken’ will be prominently featured on the front page of this section. Today, it appears on Page D2.
“In the effort to bring you more local business coverage, some regular section installments you may have enjoyed in the past had to be eliminated.
“The syndicated column, ‘Good Girls,’ will no longer be a part of the Business section, and the Dollars & Sense subsection has been eliminated as well to make room for more local business news on the inside.”
