The Charlotte Business Journal has hired Cooper Metts to cover commercial real estate, economic development and manufacturing.
He has been at the Albuquerque Business First, also owned by American City Business Journals, covering commercial and residential real estate for the past 18 months.
He earned bachelor’s degrees in media/journalism and economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Metts was a business reporting intern at the Charlotte Observer. Metts also interned for Business North Carolina magazine and reported on economic development and business for The Chatham News + Record.
