Jason Clinkscales, a reporter at Sportico, has left the sports business news organization.
“I learned from the best sports business reporters in the industry with the guidance of talented editors, allowing me the chance to expand a byline that I will forever be proud of,” he wrote on LinkedIn.
He was a reporter and editor on its breaking news team for the past year. Before that, he had been a freelance writer for the last two years.
Clinkscales previously spent a decade at The Sports Fan Journal, including more than two years as its editor in chief. He was also a senior reports editor at Insider Intelligence.
He is a graduate of Babson College.
