Dylan Manfre, a reporter at sports business site Sportico, has left the news organization because his position was eliminated.
‘This job meant so much to me, and I’m proud of the work I did in my brief time there,” wrote Manfre on Twitter. “I adore the people I worked with and the connections I made.”
He was part of a three-person team that produced content to resonate with general sports fans.
Manfre was a Dow Jones News Fund intern in summer 2023 covering Newark, New Jersey for TAPinto Newark. He wrote about local businesses, housing markets, the environment and municipal government.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rider University and a master’s degree from the University of Maryland.
