Dana Littlefield will join LAist as a senior editor. She wrote on X/Twitter:

Littlefield comes from the San Diego Union-Tribune, which she joined in 2000 to cover coastal cities. Later, she moved to the courts beat, covering several high-profile and criminal cases.
Littlefield has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a master’s degree from the University of Florida.
