Diamond Naga Siu has joined Insider to cover Apple and Google’s mobile platforms and the app developer ecosystem.
She is based in New York and starts in November.
She comes from Law360, where she researched and broke news on important topics including data privacy and Indigenous American rights. She was elected the first vice chair of the Law360 Union and co-led the organization’s diversity committee and early career employee resource group.
Siu previously worked on an award-winning investigation for Vice News about police shootings and has been a reporter at The Boston Globe, Politico, NBC News, and other outlets.
Siu is part of Insider’s growing Big Tech news team, which covers the world’s most powerful companies, entrepreneurs and technologies.
