Kate Davidson, who covers economic policy for The Wall Street Journal, is leaving the paper for a new opportunity.
“It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am to have worked with the smartest, kindest, most generous colleagues in the business for almost 7 years,” she wrote on Twitter.
Davidson has been covering the Federal Reserve and U.S. economy from The Journal’s Washington bureau.
Prior to joining the Journal in January 2015, she covered bank regulation and policy for Politico and American Banker. She has also worked for Congressional Quarterly and the Concord (N.H.) Monitor.
Davidson is a Boston University graduate.
