Te-Ping Chen, a correspondent for The Wall Street Journal in Beijing, is moving to the United States to become the paper’s work and work culture reporter.
In Beijing, she writes about politics and society.
Chen has been with The Journal since 2012, first in Hong Kong for two years and then in Beijing for the past four years. She previously worked at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists for two years as a staff reporter.
Chen holds a bachelor’s degree on sociology and international relations from Brown University.
A quick note: today is my last day in our Beijing bureau. Am moving back to the U.S., where I’ll be writing about work & work culture for @wsj. Thank you so much to my big-hearted colleagues & everyone I’ve met these past four years. Really going to miss this place.
