Joe Dwyer, the editor of the St. Louis Business Journal who has been with the publication for more than 30 years, has resigned his position.

A story on the Business Journal website states, “A search will begin soon for his replacement.

“‘I’m stepping down Nov. 1 and leaving the newspaper in the capable hands of my colleagues, incoming market President and Publisher Robert Bobroff and my to-be-named successor,’ Dwyer said.

“‘We appreciate Joe’s contributions to the St. Louis Business Journal and the community over the past 30-plus years and wish him the best of luck in the future,’ Bobroff said.

“Dwyer, 56, has been editor in chief of the St. Louis Business Journal since February 2016. A graduate of Saint Louis University, he started with the Business Journal in 1988 as a reporter. After seven years, he was named associate editor and, in 1997, was named managing editor.”
