S&P Global Market Intelligence has hired Kristen Hallam to run its health care news desk.
Hallam has been the last 16 years at Bloomberg News, most recently as a deputy team leader in London for health care news. Previously at Bloomberg, she worked as a reporter in Washington, translating health policy changes into actionable news, and helped initiate environmental news coverage.
AT S&P Global, Hallam is in charge of global coverage of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences, health care technology, health care suppliers and other related sectors.
Before Bloomberg, Hallam worked at Modern Healthcare, covering health policy and legal issues. She also worked at the Nashville Banner for 18 months covering the health care industry.
Hallam is a Northwestern University graduate.
