Sacramento Business Journal advertising director David Lichtman on Monday was named the newspaper’s publisher.
Jack Robinson, the editor of the paper, writes, “Lichtman, 58, has been advertising director of the Business Journal since October 2011. As publisher, he replaces Terry Hillman, who left in October to take a position in Kansas City.
“Lichtman said he looks forward to building on Hillman’s work as publisher.
“‘It’s an honor and a privilege to lead a great organization like the Business Journal,’ he said. ‘It’s the pre-eminent business news source in the region and a resource for business leaders throughout California.’
“Before joining the Business Journal, Lichtman was a regional sales manager in Sacramento for the Internet marketing firm ReachLocal. He also was vice president and general manager for both Entercom Communications and Comcast Spotlight.”
