Reuters this week has launched a new microsite featuring access to all Reuters investigations and special reports.
The site allows users to access a full archive of investigations produced by Reuters since 2013, sorted by year.
Global enterprise editor Mike Williams said:
Reporters and editors in Reuters bureaus around the world often ask me what kind of stories the Enterprise Desk is looking for. We figured the best way to explain what we want is to pull together the Special Reports we’ve been doing for the past several years — investigations, deep explanatory journalism, vivid war correspondence — and display it all in a curated page on Reuters.com. I think the microsite contains a great message to our staff: At a time when so many news organizations are having to cut back on this kind of work, Reuters is more devoted to it than ever. This is a place where you can practice world-class journalism.
Among the content readers can access:
- The 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning series, “The War on the Rohingya,” and Pulitzer finalists “The Child Exchange” and “The Echo Chamber,”
- “Assets of the Ayatollah,” a multi-award-winning series that revealed the inner workings of the multi-billion-dollar economic empire behind the Supreme Leader of Iran
- A recent investigation that showed Dow Chemical’s top auditor had challenged the CEO’s spending for years
- “Comrade Capitalism,” a multi-part series that Reuters documented for the first time how Putin’s Russia now works: A small circle of people close to him tap into billions of dollars in state spending and natural resources at the expense of ordinary Russians.
