Billy Nauman

Andy Willmott, group managing editor at Money-Media, a Financial Times operation, sent out the following announcement:

I’d like to congratulate Billy Nauman who will be taking on the role of producer for Moral Money, the new digital platform and newsletter from the FT focused on impact investing and sustainable investing. He will oversee the delivery of Moral Money content from across the FT network and FT Specialist, and the production of a weekly newsletter. He will also manage a landing page, and coordinate and consolidate coverage with FTfm, with Special Reports, Weekend FT and Wealth magazine, and contribute to the production of podcasts. This is an exciting opportunity for Billy, as Moral Money is envisaged as a key part of the FT’s US growth strategy. He will report to Gillian Tett.

Billy has been a huge contributor to Money-Media in his time here since starting as a reporter on Mandate Wire in 2010. He has led FundFire with great success for the last five years, hiring and developing a very strong, cohesive team. He has a keen nose for news, understands what our readers value and how to dig for the telling number or compelling quote. He has also shown his desire to keep learning new skills, attending data journalism courses and spearheading multiple in-depth projects on FundFire that have provided real value to our readers.

We will miss Billy, but he leaves FundFire in great shape, with an excellent and experienced team. His last day here will be June 4, as he has a newsletter to launch on June 12. I will communicate more on the open managing editor role soon, but in the meantime Danielle and Dervedia will keep everything running smoothly.

Please join me in congratulating Billy and wishing him the best! I’m glad we will continue to see him around!

Andy
