Yahoo Finance maintained its position as the top business and financial news site in July, while Forbes solidified its spot as the No. 2 site, according to the the comScore Multiplatform report for the month.
Yahoo Finance, which recently unveiled a redesign, reported 74.2 million unique visitors in the month, down slightly from the 75.5 million it recorded in June.
Forbes, however, reported 52.8 million unique visitors for the month, returning to the No. 2 position after falling to No. 4 in June. It had 44 million unique visitors in June.
Business Insider rebounded somewhat in July with 43.1 million unique visitors, up from 38.5 million in June. It peaked at 50.9 million unique visitors in February.
Dow Jones & Co., which had been No. 2 in June, fell to No. 4 for the month with 42.6 million unique visitors, down from the 44.3 million it had in June. It operates the websites of The Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch.com and Barrons.com.
At No. 5 was the International Business Times at 36.8 million, up from 27.6 million in June. CNBC fell one spot to No. 6 with 29.6 million unique visitors, although it increased its visitors from the 29.1 million it had in June.
