Chris Hughes, former financial editor for The Independent in London, is joining Bloomberg Gadfly.
Hughes had most recently been with a public relations firm, which he joined a year ago from Reuters where he had been EMEA Editor of Breakingviews since 2012.

“Launched in November 2015, Gadfly is an expansion of financial newswire Bloomberg’s View opinion section. Hughes joins an EMEA team that includes Leila Abboud covering tech, Chris Bryant covering industrials, Andrea Felsted covering retail, Lionel Laurent on finance/markets and Duncan Mavin covering finance and hedge funds.”
