Madhumita Murgia has been selected to join the national staff of The Washington Post this summer as a Stern Fellow.
She currently leads coverage of the biggest technology trends and innovations in Europe as a correspondent for the Financial Times.
Murgia was selected from a competitive pool of candidates and made an impression for her immersive studies and work in the fields of science and technology. She graduated from the University of Oxford with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a master’s in integrated immunology.
She also holds a master’s in journalism from the New York University, where she ran the student-run magazines Scienceline.org. Since then, Murgia has worked as an associate editor at Wired magazine and has headed technology coverage for the Telegraph.
