Fox Business Network‘s Charles Payne appeared on Varney & Co. Friday morning to criticize the stock picking of CNBC “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer in the wake of an activist investor asking Cramer to step down from CNBC or sell TheStreet.com.
Payne said, “My biggest problem with Cramer, is … every single day he changes his mind. Whatever stock is up that day, he likes. Whatever one is down that day, he dislikes … he’s never wrong.”
Payne later added, “I don’t think anyone who watches him on TV can make money. There are enough day traders on television giving advice to people looking to build long-term wealth for the future.”
