Michael Aneiro, who wrote the “Income Investing” blog for Barron’s, has resigned and will start a new job at Bloomberg News.
In his last blog post, Aneiro wrote:
The Income Investing blog, of course, will continue, but I’m off to pursue other adventures in financial journalism. It’s been a pleasure writing for Barron’s and for all you readers out there.
Aneiro launched the “Income Investing” blog for Barrons.com in 2011, covering all aspects of fixed-income markets including bonds, REITs, master limited partnerships and other income-producing investments, serving as editor and lead writer for the blog.
Before that, he spent more than five years with Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal, writing about public finance, leveraged finance, and corporate bond markets. His regular coverage also included Treasuries, structured finance, distressed debt, derivatives and fund-management firms.
Aneiro also spent two years at American Lawyer. He has a master’s degree from New York University.
