WSJ seeks investment products reporter

May 6, 2014

Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a reporter to help cover investment products and strategies for its online Wealth Advisor section, which focuses on news, trends and best practices in professional wealth management.

Because the market for this coverage is financial advisers themselves, familiarity with the industry and with strategies for saving, investing and protecting wealth is important. The right candidate will understand how various types of securities are used in an investment portfolio and how they are regulated. He or she also will have a demonstrated ability to cultivate sources, develop original ideas and write engagingly and authoritatively – and quickly when necessary. Some experience with video is helpful.

Please attach a resume, cover letter and three to five published clips to your online application.
