The Wall Street Journal is looking for a foreign-exchange strategist who can deliver smart, opinionated commentary and analysis quickly for publication.

The strategist will formulate views and identify trading opportunities in a range of actively traded currencies, including G10 and emerging markets.

The ideal candidate will have experience with this type of market analysis in the financial services sector, specifically with foreign-exchange markets; will have knowledge of derivatives and spot markets; and will have a record of writing quick, original reports on market trends and opportunities.

The ability to write clearly, engagingly and without jargon also is important. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving and a good command of written and spoken English are a must.
