Bloomberg News is looking for an experienced editor for its First Word Asia equities team in Hong Kong.
The ideal candidates will have experience covering Asian equity markets, company news, and M&A. They must have strong news judgment and be well-organized, versatile and comfortable working in a virtual team.
They will come with a track record that shows they are confident to handle company and equities news that stretch from multi-billion dollar M&A deals to the turbulence in Chinese stock markets. Candidates will be expected to produce clear and concise copy under intense pressure.
Successful candidates will work with reporters to break news on markets and money flows, use their insight to generate story ideas and provide guidance,help reporters develop contacts, and make our stories compelling must-reads for international investors.
